Single Mode

Single Mode

Single Mode

Single-mode fibers are ideal for long-distance and high-bandwidth applications, such as telecommunications and data center interconnections, due to their low signal loss and high performance.

Multimode

Single Mode

Single Mode

Multi-mode fibers, are perfect for shorter distances and high-speed data transfer within buildings or campuses, making them suitable for enterprise networks and local area networks (LANs).

Fusion Splicing Services

The Fusion Splicing Process

Preparation

Preparation

Preparation

The process starts with carefully stripping the protective coatings to reveal the bare glass of the fiber ends, followed by meticulous cleaning to remove any contaminants. The fibers are then placed into a fusion splicer, which ensures precise alignment, crucial for perfectly matching the fiber cores.

Fusion

Preparation

Preparation

Once aligned, the splicer generates a small electric arc that melts the ends of the fibers, fusing them together. This creates a seamless connection with minimal optical loss.

Protection

Preparation

Protection

After the splice is complete, the joint is protected with a splice protector to ensure durability and longevity. The spliced fiber is then tested to confirm its performance.

Our Toolset:
